David McGrath Launches Commentary

Patañjali’s Yoga Sūtra

Available September 23 

David McGrath will release his latest book, “Yoga Sūtra of Patañjali: Book One – Samādhi Pāda,” on September 23, available in both paperback and Kindle editions on Amazon.

This commentary offers readers a thoughtful exploration of the Sanskrit verses, accompanied by practical exercises to integrate the teachings into daily life. Drawing on the Sāṃkhya framework, the book illuminates foundational principles of yoga, cultivating awareness, balance, and clarity for readers at all levels of practice.

Whether new to yoga or deepening an existing practice, this work invites readers to experience the Yoga Sūtra as a living companion on the inner journey.

Practice Circle: Reflection and Support on The Yogi’s Way

David McGrathie invites participants to join the next session of his Practice Circle, a reflective space designed for anyone working with his book, The Yogi’s Way: Living in Accord with the Yamas & Niyamas.

The Practice Circle provides support, inspiration, and community as participants explore the Yamas and Niyamas together. Sessions are open to both new and returning participants, and there is no pressure to have kept up with weekly reflections — all are welcome to reflect at their own pace.
